As for the steep slope routes in Chamonix, there is an embarrassment of choice, to say the least…! The Cosmic corridor, without being too extreme and even “relatively” accessible by very good conditions, is a must. 800 m of altitude difference around 40/45 degrees of inclination.
With my friends Marcel and Elise, we treated ourselves to this superb trip worthy of the first days of spring, when the snow is powdery at the top and it is hot at the bottom, in other words, dream snow in the morning and barbecue at 2pm… the perfect combo?
The corridor attacks with two rappels in general and then follows with the Bossons glacier or the slopes of the Para, up to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
Reserved for excellent skiers and when the conditions are really good, this corridor of the Cosmics is magnificent and the atmosphere is majestic.
